With the development of natural gas pipeline,the application of small ball valve in the natural gas pipeline is widespread.Once it was failure,the transportation cannot be stopped,have to replace the valve with pressure.As analyzing the current method of replacing the valve with pressure,in view of the shortcomings,put forward a method of changing the small valve with pressure which clamping the pressure guide pipe with two jigs.For the function need,the drive of the tapping machine and manipulator gripper were investigated,make clear the technical index,operating procedures.It begins with the analysis of the torque to remove the valve with pressure,work out the valve clamping force,determine the structure of the hydraulic jaws;according to the load,determine the structure of the jaw hydraulic cylinder and sending hydraulic cylinder,then check them.Completed the hydraulic motor selection,the design of hydraulic control system.According to the requirements of the transmission scheme,design and check the gears,bearings,pins and so on;design the structure of cylinder column,gear box,two jigs,use Solidworks to complete all the structural modeling,assemble the modelings.The 3D models were introduced into ANSYS for static structural analysis.Finally,ABAQUS is used to analyze the rubber seals,determine the hardness and structure of the rubber seals.This paper provides a new method of replacing the small ball valve with pressure,which has accumulated the experience for the development of domestic pipeline maintenance equipments,and provides a theoretical basis for the subsequent experiment and optimization.
