With the reduction of oil resources, exploration and drilling are gradually toward the deeper strata. When the PDC drill bit drilled into the deep hard strata,stick-slip phenomenon is prone to occur, resulting in drill bit damage, low drilling speed and high drilling cost.To improve the drilling speed, increase single drill bit footage and increase the life of the drill bit, this paper designs a new kind of vibration reduction tool-Hydraulic Torque Impactor based on the research of Torque Impactor at home and abroad. The torque impactor is powered by high pressure drilling fluid that converts the energy of the drilling fluid into a high-frequency and low-impact force to the drill bit. After determining the tool’s structure, the tool’s impact frequency and impact torque need to be calculated. These parameters are related to the flow path shape,Hammer quality. In this paper, the hammer’s shape, the required quality, fluid channels’ shape are designed and theoretically calculated. In this paper, the three-dimensional model of Torque Impactor is established by SolidWorks, and the flow field model is established by ANSYS CFX.The relationship among the variables is analyzed by analyzing the pressure nephogram, velocity nephogram, vector and streamline.Calculate the hydraulic loss and performance parameters of the tool according to the formula.According to the processing requirements, process and assembly tools, complete the test bench’s production.According to the test program, measure the Torque Impactor’s parameters through the pressure, flow, torque and other sensors.Analyze the date to find out the inherent law.Find out problems through the indoor test to complete the Torque Impactor’s design.
