A new point was provided in this work to solve iron tailings resource reuse and degradable materials of organic wastewater,it was great significance to environment protection and achieved waste control by waste.Iron tailings were used to prepare mineral porous biological filter for industrial organic wastewater,through the different types and addition of binder agent,pore-forming agent,fluxing agent,and the analysis of influence factors of preparation system,obtained mineral porous biological filter that it had excellent performance and good water treatment effect.The best ratio of raw materials of mineral porous biological filter was iron tailings as85g,the attapulgite adding was 15g,the carbon powder adding was 10g,the calcium carbonate was 15g,the sintering temperature was 1070?,the holdting time was 30 min,the performances of the mineral porous biological filter were 36.11%of water absorption rate,52.00%of porosity,1.10g/cm~3 of volume density,0.36%of the sum of breakage rate and wear rate,1.02%of solubility in hydrochloric acid,6.389m~2/g of BET surface area,0.009cm~3 of pore capaciy,3.712nm of average aperture.The orthogonal experiment results analysis showed,influence of the main factors of water absorption and porosity on mineral porous biological filter were as follows:the content of fluxing agent>holding time>sintering temperature>proe-forming agent adding;the major factors of the sum of breakage rate and wear rate were as follows:holding time>proe-forming agent adding>sintering temperature>the content of fluxing agent.The treatment effect of mineral porous biological filter and two kinds of biological filters on simulated industrial organic wastewater were compared.The removal rate of COD were 88.59%?71.56%and 78.15%,the membrane forming start time is 9?16 and 14days respectively;the removal rate of ammonia nitrogen were 90.00%?80.00%and 72.00%,and the membrane forming start time is 5?7 and 8days respectively.Mineral porous biological filter was more suitable for aeration biological filter in three kinds of filters.The organic matter degradation mechanism of mineral porous biological filter that load microorganisms:adsorption and intercept organic matter by surface porous and rough of filter;biodegradable and nitrifying organisms by microorganism,so the organic waste water could be purification.
