| Superhydrophobic surfaces with water contact angles(WCA)greater than 150 and slide angles(WSA)lower than 10 have received great interest because of their unique water antigravity phenomenon and self-cleaning properties.Moreover,the practical applications of water-repellency are ranging from biomimicry to commodity materials such as anti-fouling,anti-icing,anti-bacterial,fluid drag reduction,and separation technique.It has been discovered that water droplets on hydrophobic surfaces can even be approaching approximately up to 180°.Surface wettability is governed by the microstructure and surface energy of a solid;thus the surface wettability can be controlled by the modulation of surface energy and roughness of a solid.In this paper,using a variety of means and chemicals to build a superhydrophobic surface containing special structure,to achieve a change of different solid surface wettability.The main research details and consequence are as follows:1.Polydivinylbenzene/polypentafluorostyrene micro-roughness surfaces(HS-PDVB/PFS)were successfully fabricated through SiO2 templates.Carefully,we explore the effects of fluoride on the water repellence of solid surface.2.Superhydrophobic polydivinylbenzene surface(HS-PDVB)containing micro-and nanostructure is created by SiO2 microspheres.The materials were characterized by FT-IR,SEM,and optical contact angle measurements.Particularly,the resulting surface can hold water droplets Cassie-Baxter model.More importantly,this surface shows outstandingdurabilityandself-cleaningproperties,whichremains superhydrophobicity with contact angle of 166.0°and sliding angle of 3°.The fluoride-free superhydrophobic surface was construct within a certain range of pore size.This method not only to degrease the cost of superhydrophobic materials,but also has the significance of environmental protection.3.According to the property of superhydrophobicity,HS-PDVB composite coating mesh films were used to separate oil and water.A simple oil-water separation device was designed to investigate the separation ability of the prepared mesh films.As the result,the oil removal rate was more than 99%. |
