With the development of oil & gas field, faults in well caused by various reasons are inevitable. The falling object in well is a common form of downhole fault, which can seriously affect the normal production of oil,gas and water well.Fishing operation is a regular and effective measure to restore normal oil and gas channels in well bore. However, fishing operation is restricted by the condition such as the fish type, state, structure of wellbore and rate of well leakage, etc.Only when we choose and use suitable fishing tools the falling object can be fished out of well successfully. It is difficult of utilizing common fishing tools while perform fishing operation in high angle and slim hole well successfully, especially the top of fish is not clear, irregular, and on total losses well.So we researched and designed a kind of integrated milling with fishing tool to perform fishing operation to solved that problem of such complex well. This paper expounded the design principle of the integrated milling with fishing tool, conduct theoretical analysis of the flow field characteristics and the distribution rule of hydraulic energy;researched the influence of structural parameters on carrying particle effect of downhole jet flow field. At the same time, the indoor comparative experiment of bottom hole cleaning ability of the tool was simulated under different hydraulic parameters. The problem of lack of understanding with the hydraulic characteristics of that tool has been solved through the study of this paper. We optimized the tool structure combined with the specific situation of site engineering. This paper also described a series of successful oilfield applications of that tool what were done in recent years.
