Tight sandstone and limestone may be high permeability sensitive to stresses change and can significantly affect reservoir production. The sensitivity level can be identified using effective stress coefficient for permeability(n_k)analysis in our tightsandstone and limestone reservoir rock.In this paper clay particle and clay shell model have been used to deduce the effective stress coefficient for permeability of effective stress law in tight sandstone and limestone. These models each display n_k increasesthrough increases of both clay amount and elastic moduli ratio of rock & clay.At the same value of elasticity ratio and clay amount of rock usually clay particle model give higher value of n_k relative to model of clay shell. With application of n_k theeffective stress law may be improved to better prediction of permeability and effective stress relationship in laboratory core experiment of tight sandstone and limestone.Improving of the plotted curves of permeability and effective stress relationship through applied n_k will convey good plan for reservoir management and achieving optimum recovery...
