With the demand for petroleum from the whole world,the development of the drilling process,and the increasing complexity of the drilling environment,we have to face some difficulties that cannot solve by the traditional drilling additives.In this work,we synthesize the fluid loss additive PSi-1 by using the knowledge of inorganic chemistry,organic chemistry and drilling fluid technology.By using some laboratory measurement methods,the optimum synthesizing way is carried out,specifically,m?AA?:m?AM?:m?AMPS?:m?ST?:m?SiO2?=3?3?5?3?1,the reaction temperature 55?,the initiator dosage 0.4%and pH value of the solution 8.Moreover,the other experiments prove that the viscosity of the PSi-1 will decrease during experiencing high temperature,the additive can withstand 180?and the additive have some kind of lubricity.The optimum proportion of the PSi-1 and graphene is 1:0.4while complexing.Through microscopic test method,the surface of nano-material and cake were observed by SEM,the functional group structure was ascertained by infrared spectrum,and the theory decomposition temperature of the PSi-1 was confirmed by thermogravimetric analysis.From the measurement,we recognize the structure of the fluid loss additive more clearly.At last,the fluid loss property of the product of each stage while synthesizing were tested and the mechanism of fluid loss control of the additive was analyzed by the test data.
