Because of good mechanical properties,composite materials have been used more and more widely in aerospace,automobile and power engineering.In the engineering use,the bearing demand of composite materials is increasing and the loading situation is more complicated,which is usually subjected to the fatigue failure of the alternating load.Therefore,the length of fatigue life is considered as an important criterion for the performance of composite materials,and scholars have paid more and more attention to the research on fatigue properties of composites.The structure of composite and metal material is different from that of metal material,and the law of failure under external load is very different.The failure of composite materials under fatigue loads is varied,and the complex failure law brings severe challenges to the prediction of fatigue life of composite materials.Stacking mode is an important influence factor of fatigue performance of composite laminates,so stacking method has great significance for the study of fatigue life of composite laminates.This paper mainly studies the influence of different stacking methods on fatigue life of composite laminates.First,the fatigue failure mechanism of composite materials is introduced,and the influencing factors of fatigue properties of composite materials and the existing fatigue failure analysis models of composite materials are summarized.Secondly,the influence of different stacking modes on the mechanical properties of composite laminates and the effect of different mechanical properties on the fatigue life of composite laminates are analyzed.In the process of analysis,several stacking parameters are defined to describe the influence of stacking mode on fatigue life of composite laminates.Then the test scheme of composite laminates with different stacking ways is designed,and the test data verifies that the stacking parameters can be used to analyze the influence of the paving methods of composite laminates on their fatigue life.Finally,an S-N curve model is proposed in this paper,which reflects the effect of composite laminate stacking mode on its fatigue life.In view of the influence of stacking mode on the fatigue life of composite laminates,a few rules of influence are given in this paper.
