| Taking the characteristics of children’s psychological development in primary school and science popularization toys as the object of study,this thesis analyzes the design concepts and principles of science popularization toys at home and abroad.The theoretical knowledge used includes kidology,paediatrics,toy design theory,primary school popular science knowledge.Using literature search method,systems research method and comparative analogy method,this thesis makes connections between theory and practice to explore the relationship between popular science toys and the development of children’s cognitive ability,analyze the design requirements,design principles and development trends of popular science toys,expecting to have a positive effect on the creation of science toys and production field by sorting out design ideas.The primary contents of the thesis include the research on the actual situation of related market,the selection of children’s toys in primary school,the generalization of educational function for popular science toys,toy creation style meeting the needs of children’s quality development in primary school and the creative design practice of popular science toy for primary school students.Based on the present background,this thesis studies the relevant status of toy manufacturing and the new ideas and principles of toys at home and abroad and proves that toys have unlimited broad market.It explains the importance of educational function of popular science toys and points out that the creation of popular science toys should meet the needs of children’s quality development concerning the characteristics of children’s physical and mental development in primary school,especially the developmental characteristics of cognitive ability.Only by meeting this condition,toys can play a positive educational effect on children’s learning.Furthermore,this thesis emphasizes the importance of educational function of scientific toys,summarizes the concept,development trend and design principle of popular science toys,and it carries out classified research on the existing popular science toys in the market according to the subject knowledge involved concerning the development of educational idea and science and technology.Based on the evolution trend and creative points,this thesis discusses the design ideas of popular science toys.At the end,the thesis explains the design practice of popular science toys based on various concepts.Popular science toys can promote the development and education of children’s intelligence and emotion.Moreover,popular science toys not only allow children to easily learn the subject content of textbooks,but also stimulate their curiosity about the scientific principles of natural phenomena and improve their imagination,creativity and practical ability. |
