Copper azide is an energy material with low limit initiation dosage,large output energy and environmental protection,but limited in pratical applications due to its high electrostatic sensitivity.In order to improve the properties,we combined copper nano-wires(Cu NWs)with the carbon materials,single-walled carbon nanotubes(SWCNTs)and reduced graphene oxide(RGO)which have good conductivities.Then carbon based nano Cu(N3)2 composite energetic materials was prepared through experiments.The main contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)In this paper,Cu NWs were prepared by liquid phase reducing method.SEM,TEM,XRD,EDS were used to characterize the morphology and crystalline structure of the Cu NWs.The results showed that the growth of the Cu NWs was mainly affected by the dosage of the EDA.The best condition is that 200 mL of NaOH(15 M),10 mL of Cu(N03)2(0.1 M),hydrazine(25 ?L;35 wt%),and 1.5 mL of EDA.The Cu NWs with a diameter of 90-120 nm,and a length between 40-50?m were obtained.The growth mechanism was that the Cu NWs were gradually grown from spherical nanoparticles.(2)The composite materials were prepared by mixing Cu NWs and SWCNTs in different proportions and deposited on the silicon wafer by electrophoresis deposition.The best effect was found by comparing with the different ratio conditions.Then the composite energetic material was obtained by gas/solid phase reaction.XRD showed that most of the products were CuN3.DSC revealed that the peak value was 192.2 ? and the heat release was 1044.3 J/g.The 50%ignition energy of the product(0.55 mJ)was caculated through the electrostatic spark sensitivity test.It was shown that SWCNTs dispersed in the composite can improve the electrostatic sensitivity to a certain extent.(3)In the process of the synthesis of Cu NWs.graphene oxide was added which was reduced by catechinic acid.Then Cu NWs and reductive graphene oxide(RGO)composite materials were obtained.Electrophoresis deposition is used to deposit the composite materials on the silicon wafer.After gas/solid phase reaction,nano Cu(N3)2/RGO composite energetic material was obtained.XRD showed that all of the products were Cu(N3)2.DSC revealed that the peak value was 189.7 ? and the heat release was 1521.5 J/g.50%ignition energy of the Cu(N3)2/RGO composite energetic materials which contented 15%RGO was 0.92 mJ.When the content of RGO increased to 25%,50%ignition energy rised to 1.43 mJ.It was shown that increasing the content of RGO in the composite can be more beneficial to reduce the electrostatic sensitivity of the composite materials.
