Millets and psoso millets are of plant resource using as both medicine and food.They have functions,like reducing blood lipid and antioxidation,as it is rich in nutrition components and active ingredient.At present in China,most study focused on oats,buckwheat,barley and other grains,resulting in the basic research and deep processing of millets and proso millets were relatively backward,and there was rarely reported that research for Comparative analysis of nutrition function components and antioxidation effect in millets and proso millets.In this paper,nutrition function components in 10 kinds of millets and 8 kinds of proso millets were dermined,further more,The effect of antioxidation were studied through the combination of internal and external method.Its important to offer reference for the deep processing and scientific resonable consumption.Experimental results:The content of nutrition components,such as protein,starch,methionine and functional components,like olyphenols showed significant difference but fatty,fatty acid and and functional oligosaccharides,flavonoidshad had no significant difference between millets and proso millets.The contents of starch,methionine and polyphenols in millets are significantly higher than that of proso millets,and the content of protein in proso millets is significantly higher than that of millets.The oxygen radical absorbance capacity(ORAC)index,peroxyl radical scavenging capacity(PSC)index and cellular antioxidant activity(CAA)index of millets and proso millets alcohol extract weresignificantly greater than that of the aqueous extract.The oxygen radical absorbance capacity(ORAC)index,cellular antioxidant activity(CAA)index and peroxyl radical scavenging capacity(PSC)index of millets alcohol extract were significantly higher than that of proso millets.The antioxidant indexes of the aqueous extracts also showed the same trend.External experiments showed that the antioxidant effect of alcohol extract was better than that of aqueous extract.There were significant differences in millets and proso millets,and the antioxidant effect of millets alcohol extract was superior to that of proso millets.Millets could enhance GSH-PX and SOD enzyme activity of liver in mice.It was verified by the internal experiments. |
