The high efficiency removal of toluene and CO in low energy consumption was achieved by using low temperature plasma with Ce-Zr base catalyst.This paper prepared CuxMn1-xCeo.75Zro.25Oy/TiO2(x=1,0.75,0.5,0.25,0)by the volume immersion method and CuCeo.75Zro.25Oy compound oxide catalyst with different pore-forming agent by the sol gel method.The BET,XRD,XPS,H2-TPR,O2-TPD and Raman characterization methods were examined to analysis the structure properties of catalysts.The performance of catalytic removal of toluene and CO was evaluated by using low temperature plasmas and fixed bed reactor.The results obtained are as follows:(1)The Cu/Mn mole ratio of CuxMn1-x,Ce0.75Zr0.25Oy/TiO2 effects on catalyst activity:CuxMn1-xCeo.75Zro.25Oy/TiO2 catalysts by the volumetric impregnation degradate toluene(1000 ppm)experimental results show that the Cu,Mn,single main metal catalysts exhibited higher activity than double main metal catalyst activity in toluene catalytic reaction,due to Cu,Mn are with strong synergy between Ce,and then exist a competition effect results to make the oxidation reduction ability decrease of double primary metal catalyst.MnCZ/T basic without reducing catalyst,but it shows excellent catalytic activity,which indicates that the interaction between Mn in catalyst and the O3 in the process of plasma to enhances the catalytic activity of the catalyst.(2)The pore-forming agent effects on CuCeo.75Zro.25Oy composite metal oxide catalyst activity:CuCeo.75Zro.25Oy composite metal oxide catalysts were prepared with three different pore-forming agent by sol gel method,and investigate its activity in plasma combined catalytic removal of CO.The experimental results show that the different pore-forming agent have obvious influence on the structure,properties of the catalyst and the activities for catalytic oxidation CO.Bacterial cellulose as pore-forming agent catalyst has the best catalytic activity,mainly due to bacterial cellulose pore-forming agent of CuO and CeO2 synergy effect significantly,improving the oxidation and reduction characteristic of the catalyst,and increasing the oxygen vacancy concentration to have a good storage performance.(3)Effects of low-temperature plasma with catalysts for CO self-sustained combustion:by changing plasma operating conditions,catalysts,reactant concentration,and flow rate on CO self-sustained combustion,three kinds of CuCe0.75Zr0.25Oy composite oxide catalysts were prepared to study the CO self-sustained flammability limits at different flow rates.The results showed that the higher activity of the catalyst makes it more available for the CO oxidation,which would gain the lower the lean burning limit.The heat transfer model of the CuCe0.75Zr0.25Oy-X catalyst that has the high activity of CO self-sustained combustion stabilization process shows that with the increase of the reactant gas flow rate,the concentration required for CO self-sustained combustion increases with the huge heat dissipation.And The temperature of catalyst bed rises with the reactive center moves toward the front of the catalyst bed.
