1,2-Diaza-4-phospholide is a mixed aromatic heterocyclic compound that has a strong affinity for metal ions and it is potential for the preparation of related complexes.Preliminary work has shown that the reaction of rare earth metal chlorides and1,2-diaza-4-phospholide generated low-valent rare earth complex{[(η2-3,5-t Bu2dp)4EuII]K2},which involved an oxido-reduction process between metal cation and ligand.In this thesis,we developed a stratigy for the synthesis and isolation of 1,2-diaza-4-phospholide Ho radical complex.At the same time,we also tried to prepare several ruthenocenes with asymmetric 1,2-diaza-4-phospholide ligands.The compounds were characterized by NMR,IR,and single crystal structure,elemental analysis,magnetic Characterization,and paramagnetic studies.The main contents of this thesis are as follows:1.The reaction of HoCl3 and 1,2-diaza-4-phospholide potassium afforded a1,2-diaza-4-phospholide holmium radical complex[η2(N,N)-(3,5-tBu2dp)4Ho]·(1)that was characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis successfully.The reaction suggested an oxido-reduction mechanism.2.A number of asymmetric 1,2-diaza-4-phospholes were synthesized:3-methyl-5-phenyl 1,2,4-diazaphosphole H[3-Me-5-Phdp](2),3-cyclohexyl-5-isopropyl-1,2,4-diazaphosphole H[3-Cy-5-i Prdp](3),3-isopropyl-5-(3-methylthiophenyl)1,2,4-diaza-phosphole{3-i Pr-5-(3-Me-2-thienyl)dp]}(4),and N-(4-trifluoromethylphenyl)-3,5-diphenyl-1,2,4-diazaphosphole[1-(4-CF3-C6H4)-3,5-Ph2dp](5).The reaction of asymmetrical 1,2-diaza-4-phospholides with[C5Me5RuCl]4 affored stable asymmetric sandwich complexes[(η5-3-Me-5-Phdp)Ru(C5Me5)](6)and[(η5-3-Cy-5-i Prdp)Ru(C5-Me5)](7).
