The application performance of surfactant and polymer mixed solution is usually better than that of the single component as a result of synergistic interaction,surfactant-polymer system been widely used in coatings,food,daily chemical products,tertiary oil recovery,sewage treatment and pharmaceuticals.In the detergent,polymers can prevent dirt and inorganic salt from being deposited on the clothing again,and prevent the clothing from cross color.The surfactants have wetting,emulsification,foaming and detergency.It is of great theoretical and practical significance to add surfactant-polymer systems in detergents and study their interaction mechanism and performance.Anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl benzenesulfonate(SDBS),non-ionic surfactant modified oil ethoxylates(SOE-60)and water-soluble non-ionic polymer polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP)are selected as the research objects in this thesis.The physicochemical properties,interaction mechanisms and application properties of single surfactant and polymer system(SDBS-PVP)and composite surfactant and polymer system(SDBS/SOE-60-PVP)are studied to provide theoretical support for the use of polymers in liquid detergents.The main research works are outlined as follows:Firstly,fixing PVP concentrations at 1 g/L,2 g/L and 3 g/L,respectively,the physicochemical properties of SDBS-PVP system,including surface tension,viscosity,steady-state fluorescence and resonance light scattering,were studied at(25±1)? by surface tension meter,Ubbelohde viscometer and fluorescence spectrophotometer.Interaction mechanism of SDBS-PVP system was explained by the physicochemical properties.Furthermore,fixing PVP concentrations at 1 g/L,2 g/L and 3 g/L,respectively,and fixing the mass ratios of SDBS to SOE-60 at 7:3,the physicochemical properties between mixed surfactants of SDBS,SOE-60 and polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP),including surface tension,viscosity,steady-state fluorescence and resonance light scattering properties,were studied at(25±1)? by surface tension meter,Ubbelohde viscometer,and fluorescence spectrophotometer.Interaction mechanism of SDBS/SOE-60-PVP system was explained by the physicochemical properties.Finally,fixing PVP concentrations at 1 g/L,2 g/L and 3 g/L,respectively,and fixing surfactant concentration at 0.1wt%,application properties of SDBS-PVP and SDBS/SOE-60-PVP systems were studied,including wetting,emulsification,detergency and aiti-redepositing,the relationship between interaction mechanism and application properties of surfactant-polymer systems was discussed.
