The bending machine is an important industrial equipment in the field of sheet metal manufacturing.At the same time,numerical control system is the core part which determines the performance of bending machine.Nowadays,vast majority of NC system are purchased from abroad,full-featured and high price,which restricting the independent innovation of domestic NC products.In order to adapt to the increasingly fierce market competition,the company need to consider how to develop the domestic bending machine NC system with independent intellectual property rights.In this paper,a new development scheme of bending machine numerical control system is proposed,which adopts ARM-based embedded soft PLC architecture instead of traditional hardware PLC or single chip computer.The program has good characteristics in openness and post-maintenance.Choosing hardware system and software platform according to the bending process characteristics and process requirements.The logic and motion control of bending machine are realized under the embedded soft PLC platform,This paper presents a series of process measures,such as secondary packaging of bending algorithm,bending process database,double-slider synchronization control,deflection compensation and so on,which are based on the bending process and the bending straightness process.The soft PLC platform is designed for the MB8 series bending machine in Yang Li.Achieving a complete bending process and related auxiliary functions,including alarm,monitoring,debugging,sampling in the CoDeSys platform.At the same time,improving the parameter configuration,document management and configuration interface.So as to realize the overall development of the NC system for bending machines.System validation and related testing work are executed in the economic bending machinenamedMB8-250X3200.Test results show that the system design program is successfully conducted,and the various functions and performance indicators have achieved the desired requirements.The embedded soft PLC scheme prove to be effective.After the successful implementation of the above work content,this paper uses the embedded soft PLC to realize the development of the bending machine NC system successfully.At the same time,NC system achieves the domestic first-class level in the process and performance ofbending process.With short development cycle and low cost,this program has the advantages of expansion and post-maintenance convenience.In addition,this topic makes some contribution to the popularization and application of soft PLC in the industrial field,which proves that the soft PLC program has engineering practicability in the key technologies such as real-time,logic and motion control.
