The general dynamic equation(GDE)forms a general mathematical framework for describing the particle dynamical evolution under all kinds of process(i.e.,collide,coagulation,deposition and so on)in a wide range of physical, technological and environmental applications, and can be viewed as the Boltzmann's transport equation in form. The moment method is to transform the GDE into a series of moment equations and has become a powerful tool for investigating aerosol micro-physical processes in most cases for its low computational cost. The most difficult of this method is the closure of the moment equations. The Taylor-series expansion moment method(TEMOM),which closes the moment equation by Taylor series expansion approximation,is widely used because of its high computational efficiency.Based on this moment method, the deposition of aerosol particles in enclosed chamber is studied. In this paper, the Taylor-series expansion moment method(TEMOM)is applied to the phenomenon of aerosol deposition in a enclosed chamber. The results indicates that.TEMOM can simulate the deposition of aerosol more suitably than the Log-normal distribution method of moments(LG-MOM)under the same conditions. Then, this paper discuss the factors which can affect the deposition of aerosol in enclosed chamber,The change of chamber's height and experiment fitting factor have impact on the deposition of aerosol in enclosed chamber is studied.Lastly,TEMOM is used to study the coagulation and deposition of aerosol in enclosed chamber is coupled, the results were found to show a good agreement compared with experiment data, and the simulation can be considered accurate and reasonable.Overall, this work mainly apply TEMOM to the deposition of aerosol in enclosed chamber, and the model of coagulation and deposition are coupled to compute, which get a reasonable result.
