| The widespread ammonia nitrogen discharged directly into the water will cause serious eutrophication and cause blackening,fouling and pollution.Ammonia nitrogen widely exists in urban residents’ domestic sewage.The biological treatment technology of traditional domestic sewage needs additional carbon source and aeration,which will produce huge energy consumption and improve the cost of sewage treatment.Microbial fuel cell(MFC)is a device that uses microbes as a biocatalyst to convert organic chemical energy into electrical energy in the wastewater.In this experiment,the double cathode MFC system can be const ructed to remove nitrogen and carbon from domestic sewage and produce electricity at the same time,so as to realize the removal of harmful substances and waste resources of sewage.The experiment first uses the simulated wastewater to start the biological double cathode MFC system.After a half month operation,the maximum instantaneous voltage of the system breaks through 500 m V,the internal resistance value is 120 omega and the maximum power density reaches 3.5 W/m3,which indicates that the system has been successfully started.After starting,the effect of production and denitrification of the system was investigated.After the system was batches under anaerobic aerobic anoxic mode,the parameters of ammonia nitrogen concentration,external resistance and reflux ratio were optimized.According to the results,the system was run continuously under the relatively suitable conditions,and the parameters of HRT,COD concentration and p H were continued.Optimization.The experimental results show that the dual cathode MFC system has good performance in removing organic compounds and removing nitrogen compounds.It is found that the continuous HRM MFC system in this experiment has a reasonable HRT of 20 h.The optimal influent load of the system is 250 mg/L.T he effect of the system is greatly influenced by the influent p H,but in the acid condition,the power production performance is obviously restrained.Considering the water intake is the best of neutral or weak alkalinity. |
