With the increasing requirements of environmental regulations and people’s awareness,high-performance waterborne fluorinated acrylate polymers have wider application prospects.However,water based fluorinated acrylate polymers have poor waterproof properties,which is not conducive to further popularization.In order to solve the above problems,the core shell emulsion polymerization method was used to synthesize fluorine core shell acrylate emulsion,and different crosslinking systems were established.The effects of crosslinking monomers and diplomatic agents on the stability and waterproof properties of the emulsion were studied,and the best formula was obtained.In the experiment,the polymerized reactive emulsifier DNS-86 was selected to polymerized the core and shell emulsion from many different kinds of emulsifiers,and the theoretical glass temperature(Tg)of the fluorine core-shell emulsion was-20℃,and the influence of various factors on the stability and waterproof property of fluorine core shell emulsion was studied.The emulsion was characterized by laser particle size analyzer,X-photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),infrared spectrometer(FTIR),thermogravimetric analysis(TGA)and differential scanning calorimeter(DSC).The final experimental results show that the optimum mass ratio of BA/MMA was 1.55,the core shell structure was internal hard soft form and the optimum core shell monomer ratio was 2:3.The core shell two phase structure existed in the latex particles through DSC.The optimum dosage of the initiator APS was 0.6wt% of the total mass of the monomer,and the optimum dosage of the emulsifier DNS-86 was the monomer total.The best mass of 2.5wt% and DFMA was 6wt% of the total mass of the monomer,the best mass ratio of the soft monomer BA/EHA in the shell was 3:1,the optimum dosage of the AA monomer was the 1.0wt% of the total mass of the monomer.The synthesized fluorine containing core and shell emulsion had good stability,high conversion and low water absorption.The hand feel of the non-woven fabric after the emulsion treatment was soft and non sticky,and the water contact angle and the hydrostatic pressure were high.In order to improve the waterproof property of the fluorine core shell emulsion,the crosslinking system was established on the basis of the original emulsion and the crosslinkingagent was added to the emulsion.The crosslinking density of the polymer molecular chain was increased and the carboxyl group with high hydrophilicity was cross linked.The experimental investigation showed that when the crosslinked monomer was selected HEAA and the amount was 2.0wt% of the total mass of the mono body,the synthesized fluorine core shell emulsion had a low gel rate,good polymerization stability and a better waterproof performance.When the diplomatic agent selected the organosilicon star polymer and the amount was 2.0wt% of the total quantity of the monomer,the fluorine core shell emulsion after blending was used.The solution had the best comprehensive performance.The non woven fabric had a soft hand feeling and no hard hair and stickiness.The water contact angle and the static water pressure of the non woven fabric had reached 136.6° and 2.95 kPa respectively.The thermal analysis showed that the crosslinked monomer HEAA and the organosilicon star polymer were helpful to the glass transition temperature and heat resistance of the fluorine core-shell emulsion. |
