With the rapid development of today's social industry, the demand for energy is increasing, traditional fossil energy has been fully utilized, thus the quickly decreasing traditional energy and the rapidly increasing demand are the main contradictions in the energy field today. As a very rich and promising energy source, oil shale has been paid more and more attention. At the same time, with the improvement of people's living standard, the number of municipal solid waste has been greatly increased. The treatment of municipal solid waste has also become the focus of attention in the environmental field.Because of its high calorific value,it also has high energy utilization value. In the field of energy research, mixed thermal utilization may bring favorable synergistic effect has become the hotspot, therefore the research of oil shale and municipal solid waste co-combustion,co-pyrolysis has extremely important practical value for the comprehensive utilization of energy and to provide the theoretical guide.Using thermogravimetric analyzer, the combustion characteristics of oil shale, municipal solid waste and their mixed samples at different mixing ratios were analyzed. The experimental results show that the combustion characteristics of municipal solid waste are obviously better than that of oil shale. When the mixing ratio of municipal solid waste is more than 50%,the mixed sample has better comprehensive combustion characteristics. There is interaction between the two in the mixed combustion process, which is mainly promoted effect, especially in the high temperature stage. When the mixing ratio is 70%,the blending ratio is ideal, considering the degree of the reaction activation energy and the reaction. The main products of combustion are water and carbon dioxide. The weight loss characteristics of combustible components of MSW were studied by thermogravimetric analyzer. It was found that there were two obvious weight loss peaks for PVC,and the rest were single weight loss peaks. The pyrolysis products of combustible components were analyzed by fast pyrolysis gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. It was found that most of the pyrolysis products were hydrocarbons, and there was quite amount of hydrogen chloride in the pyrolysis products of PVC.Thermogravimetric analyzer was used to study the pyrolysis characteristics of oil shale, municipal solid waste and their mixed samples,as well as possible interactions and kinetic analysis in the reaction process. And the pyrolysis products were analyzed by fast pyrolysis gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The results show that the pyrolysis characteristics of municipal solid waste are better than that of oil shale, and the mixed samples have a certain promoting effect in the process of pyrolysis. In consideration of the degree of reaction activation energy and reaction proceed,50% is an ideal pyrolysis mixing ratio. Most of the pyrolysis products of oil shale are hydrocarbons. The pyrolysis products of MSW are mainly hydrocarbons and a considerable number of hydrogen chloride. The hydrogen chloride content of mixed samples is relatively reduced.
