Abstract/Summary:
Magnesium alloys is the lightest metal material in engineering applications.Magnesium alloys have the characteristics of light specific gravity,high specific strength,excellent thermal conductivity and electromagnetic shielding properties,which make magnesium alloys more and more applied in automotive field,aerospace field and electronic information fields.However,due to the hexagonal close-packed crystal structure of magnesium alloys,less slip systems can be activated at room temperature.If the heating temperature is too high,it will lead to coarse structure and poor material performance.Therefore,it is very necessary to study the plastic forming of magnesium alloys.In this paper,take the deep drawing ability with AZ31 magnesium alloy square box as the research object,and uses Abaqus finite element software to research the deep drawing forming performance.Through the uniaxial tensile test of AZ31 magnesium alloys,obtained the mechanical properties of AZ31 magnesium alloys.By finite element simulation analysis,analyzed the main process parameters such as forming temperature,friction coefficient,blank space,blank-holder gap and the clearances between the punch and the die of deep drawing on different process parameters,compared the change in stress field,strain field and the thickness of the material,the optimum drawing temperature of the AZ31 magnesium alloy square box is 250°C,and take reasonable die clearance and method of lubrication can improve the formablilty.Gurson-Tvergaard-Needleman model(GTN model)is a common model of meso-damage mechanics,reflects macroscopic changes in materials through the mesoscopic pore growth and polymerization.In this paper,the GTN model parameters are obtained by fitting test data.By analyzing the distribution of pore volume,the effect of forming parameters on the drawing of AZ31 magnesium alloy square box was studied.Through analysis and comparison,the most suitable forming temperature and die clearance for the AZ31 magnesium alloy square box forming are obtained,and a lower friction coefficient is beneficial to the phone shell forming.Through analysis and comparison,used the best process parameters for AZ31 magnesium alloy mobile phone shell deep drawing test,prove the reliability of finite elements analysis.Provide useful suggestions for the deep drawing technology of AZ31 magnesium alloy mobile phone shell.
