Sintering process is one of the important methods for pretreatment of raw materials for iron and steel production.Ring cooler is the main matching equipment of sintering machine,and also an important part of the whole sintering process.The annual maintenance time is longer and the production efficiency is seriously affected.In this paper,through the in-depth study of the structure and components of the ring cooler,the construction process is optimized by using the principle of Single Minute Exchange of Die(SMED),and most of the construction tasks are put in the non stop time to achieve the purpose of shortening the shutdown time.Practical problems:(1)The traditional installation and maintenance process of the ring cooler is carefully analyzed,the key points that affect the construction progress and the link that can be deeply reformed are found,the technical measures to improve the process flow are put forward,and the traditional method of equipment replacement and the existing problems are analyzed.(2)On the basis of systematic study of the principle of SMED,this paper first modularized the disassembly process of the ring cooler,and applied the principle of SMED to externalization the internal switching time.Through the improvement of the six technical links,the time of the replacement and adjustment of the equipment was shortened by 1/5,and the predetermined target was achieved.(3)The rapid die changing technology is applied to the two phase sintering ring remolding project of a steel plant,and the rapid die changing technology is used to replan the process flow of the ring cooler disassembly.The results show that the maintenance cost can be reduced and the production loss can be reduced effectively.It is fully explained that the rapid die changing technology should be effective in the field of maintenance and maintenance of steel enterprises.It is useful for the optimization of maintenance and repair in enterprises.
