| Dunhuang art is a world heritage of broadness and profoundness,and it ’ s a crystallization of history,culture and art.The excavation of Dunhuang Grottoes has lasted sixteen dynasties,including the Northern Dynasties,the Sui Dynasty,the Tang Dynasty,the Five Dynasties,the Western Xia Dynasty,the Yuan Dynasty and so on.The style of Dunhuang Grottoes became more and more mature,showing strong artistic beauty and a beautiful meaning.In the design of home textiles,the application of caisson pattern has transcended the traditional aesthetic as a both traditional and new element,I\and it is not only richer in form and vision,but also has more and more styles.Based on this richness and diversity,this paper has carried out systematic analysis and innovative research on application of Dunhuang caisson patterns on home textiles design.Firstly,this paper analyzes and summarizes the concept and development of Dunhuang caisson,and makes classification of the Mogao Grottoes Grottoes,and chooses one of the central pillar cave,top shaped cave,cave hall for investigation in order to show the richness of caisson patterns.It is followed by a comparative study of the caisson art characteristics of Dunhuang Northern Dynasties,Sui Dynasty,Tang Dynasty and the late Tang and Five Dynasties,song,Xixia and Yuan Dynasties from the aspects of composition,pattern,color and so on.And also this thesis makes a preliminary study Dunhuang caisson pattern in different time periods.With the detailed study of Mogao Grottoes and the caisson,this paper conducts basic research of application of Dunhuang caisson pattern in home textile design.Secondly this paper makes a detailed research into the art aesthetics of Dunhuang caisson.In the aspect of the inner beauty of Dunhuang caisson,this paper discusses the rich content of the subject matter and the beauty of the meaning of the subject.It proves that the meaning of it is the same as that of the consumer.It studies the beauty of structure of Dunhuangcaisson pattern,and three aspects are compared and analyzed including separated form,double-square and four-square.The formal beauty of Dunhuang caisson is summarized from the three aspects:change and unity,symmetry and balance,rhythm and rhyme.In order to make the aesthetics of the design product changeable and unified,it combines the constitution law with the Dunhuang caisson pattern and modern home textile design in the form of composition.The beauty of color of Dunhuang caisson pattern is analyzed through the study of the configuration and color pigment.Talking about the concept of home textiles and the development trend of home textile products,and combination result of questionnaire of the feasibility analysis of Dunhuang caisson pattern used in textile design,also generalizing the application of Dunhuang caisson in home textiles from three aspects which include the use of the whole,the application of the subject matter,the use of color.In combination with the design method proposed in the previous sections,the domestic textile products with Dunhuang characteristics are created.Finally this paper putts forward the hypothesis and verification to the innovation in textile design on Dunhuang caisson from the style,technology and color.Through the re-creation of this traditional art to carry forward the Dunhuang caisson,meeting the dual needs of consumers spirit and vision and give the new art value to textile products with the traditional culture of Dunhuang caisson.Through the single product design for home textile products and integrated design based on style,pattern and color,it verifies that the Dunhuang caisson pattern can be well used in the modern home textile design.It proves the feasibility of the assumptions and ideas proposed in this paper.Now,the textile industry is booming,and the design of home textile products should reflect the multiple unity of science and aesthetics,technology and art.I hope this paper provide a reference for the application of Dunhuang caisson pattern in home textile design,and through the study of the renewable value of Dunhuang art,it is hoped to improve the contemporary consumer’s love for traditional culture.In the end the art of Dunhuang will be integrated into the modern fabric design. |
