| Pectin,one kind of structural component of vegetal cell wall,is an extremely complex heteropolysaccharide which is made up of neutral and acidic units.It can be used as thickening and gelling agent in food industry.Many studies indicate that pectin oligosaccharides,especially oligogalacturonic acid have many biological activities,such as inducing plant resistance,refraining fatty accumulate in rat liver cell and so on.In order to elevate polysaccharides’ biological activity,structural modification and reshaping which include degradation are carried out frequently.The results were summarized as fellows:1)This study is actually the first to an example of extraction pectin using DBD-PAHE.Considering the practical situation and feasibility in experiment,we were modified slightly the optimal extraction conditions as follows: DBD plasma treatment time of 5.50 min,pH of 2,and input voltage of 40 V.Under these conditions,the experimental yields of pectin reached 26.91%,which were consistent with the value of the validation.Compared with direct heating extraction method,not only did DBD-PAHE enhance the yield of pectin,but shortened the time of extracting pectin.2)The study established the degradation path and degradation kinetic of pectin polysaccharide with DBD plasma by determining the dynamic change of molecular mass and distribution of pectin.Degradation kinetics model of pectin fitted to 1/Mt-1/Mo=kt.3)Compared with the natural pectin,DBD plasma process reduced the degree of esterification and it was concluded that the oxidative induced by DBD plasma system focused on galacturonic acid attacking the HG domain and retained the RG-I domain to a greater. |
