Tool coating was an important way to improve the cutting performance of high-efficiency machining.In view of the present method of preparing tool coatings,there were serious environmental pollution,expensive deposition equipment and high technical requirements.This paper proposed the research on the preparation and cutting performance test of electrostatic coating of tools.This paper aimed to develop and lay a foundation for the development of environmentally friendly and effective tool coating preparation methods.The main research work was as follows:1.The development of tool coating device based on powder electrostatic sprayingAccording to the process requirements of the tool electrostatic coating process,the design target of powder electrostatic spraying tool coating device was developed,and the design and construction of each part of the device were designed.After testing,it was found that the spraying voltage and distance,powder feeding,fluidizing and atomizing pressure of the developed device were precisely adjustable.The adjustable range of the spray voltage was 0-90kV;The range of spray distance was 50mm300mm;The pressure range of powder feeding,fluidizing and atomizing could be adjusted to 00.4MPa.It met the requirements of the preparation of tool electrostatic coating.2.Preparation and performance detection of tool coatings based on powder electrostatic sprayingA tool coating preparation experiment was carried out on the tool coating device.The influences of the size of solid lubricant,type of adhesive,powder proportion,powder pressure and spraying voltage on the coating morphology,hardness,thickness and binding strength were studied.The optimized preparation process parameters of tool coatings were obtained.The size of the solid lubricant MoS2 was 20?m.The adhesive was epoxy modified phenolic resin.The powder ratio was 3:1.The spraying voltage was-70kV.Fluidization pressure was 0.01MPa.The feeding pressure was 0.2MPa.The atomization pressure was0.02MPa.Spraying distance was 150mm.3.Research on cutting performance of soft coated toolMoS2 soft coated tools were prepared by optimizing process parameters.Through the comparison test with the uncoated tool milling 45 steel.The influence of coating tool on cutting force and chip morphology was studied.The results show that MoS2 soft coating tool could effectively reduce the cutting force and improve the cutting effect.
