| Supramolecular polymers are a type of polymers which are constructed by reversible and directional noncovalent bonds.Combining the properties of polymer science and supramolecular chemistry, supramolecular polymers become a research highlight recently.Dynamic noncovalent bonds endow supramolecular polymers some special properties such as stimuli-responsiveness,self-healing property and easily degradable, which are distinguishing from traditional polymers. In this dissertation,we designed and constructed some photo-responsive supramolecular polymers. The main content was involved in three parts as following:1.Based on the dual host-guest interactions generated from azobenzene and β-cyclodextrin(β-CD)with calix[4]arene and methyl viologen of bifunctional host and guest monomers in the aqueous solution,a linear supramolecular polymer could be obtained. The resultant polymer exhibited dual stimuli-responsiveness to light irradiation and redox process. Also, the intriguing morphologies change was recorded as the host-guest interactions took place and vanished upon light irradiation.2.A supramolecular hydrogel crosslinked by host-guest interactions via introducing azobenzene and β-cyclodextrin into polyacrylamide was synthesized. The supramolecular hydrogel presented satisfactory performances such as good tensile property, high strength and rapidly room temperature self-healing property. It was photo-responsive for the existence of photo-sensitive groups. The color, tensile property and strength of hydrogel could be regulated by light of different wavelengths.3.An azobenzene and spiropyran functionalized hydrogel associated by hydrophobic interactions was synthesized. The hydrogel was thermo-responsive.The gel-sol transition could be realized by addition of β-CD and competitive guest molecule. |
