As an important class of mechanical interlocking molecules, daisy chains are widely used in the fields of artificial molecular machines and intelligent materials because of their unique structure and specific properties.Among them, the daisy chain molecules with stimuli responsive properties attract extensive interest and attention of chemists due to their special stimulus response flexibility. In order to further study and develop the molecular system of daisy chain with the nature of stimulus response,we introduced organic metal elements and successfully constructed a series of new organometallic chain molecules that can respond to external stimuli, and studied their properties in detail. In the first chapter, the research progress of daisy chain molecules is reviewed in detail, including the progress in the research of daisy chain molecules based on different macrocycles and the progress of artificial "molecular muscles" based on different stimuli. In the second chapter,a solvent ion responsive metal organic [c2] daisy chain molecule based on pillaranes / alkane chains was successfully constructed with the aid of template action.Based on this daisy chain molecule, the stimulating response type dendrimer chain dendrimers were successfully constructed by using the controllable divergent strategy, and the response properties of the stimuli were studied in detail. In the third chapter, the synthesized organometallic [c2] daisy chain molecules are functionalized(with crown ether and free radical),and the artificial "molecular muscle" and "molecular switch" with the nature of stimulus response are attempted.
