Graphene is consisted of the 2D form of carbon based material existing as a single layer of atoms arranged in a honeycomb lattice. It has outstanding electrical, thermal and mechanical properties and so on.But so far,it is difficult to produce high quality graphene on a large scale at low cost.In this dissertation, graphene was prepared by mechanical ball milling, and then the prepared graphene was added to polyethylene glycol, the thermal conductivity of polyethylene glycol was expected to increase. At the same time, the prepared graphene was oxidized by molten salt and the produced graphene was cut to prepare the smaller size nanoparticles. The main contents include the following :1)Using the idea of “tape paste” graphite to prepare graphene, the Arabia gum solution was put on the surface of the ball to form a thin but sticky layer.Ggraphite was added and get a stable graphene solution by ball milling and centrifugation process. In addition, graphite was also milled with potassium carbonate powder and potassium hydroxide solution,A homogeneous and stable solution of graphene was obtained.2)Graphene solution was prepared by ball miling with graphite and Arabia gum.It was well blended with a certain mass of polyethylene glycol and dried sufficiently, and the composites with different mass fraction of graphene are prepared.Under the optimized composition of the composite, the thermal conductivity and the thermal energy storage performance of the material had been improved.3)The stable graphene solution was prepared by ball milling with graphite both potassium carbonate and potassium hydroxide solution respectively. The solution was mixed with sodium nitrate and potassium nitrate, the graphene vesicles were obtained after the oxidation of molten salt, and the new nano graphite material has excellent fluorescence properties.
