| Palladium-based nanomaterials have received considerable attention due to their good catalytic performance towards alcohol oxidation reactions. In this dissertation, different palladium-based nanocomposites, including Pd/graphene,FePd/graphene,and palladium-rich polyoxometalate composites were prepared by various routes. The morphology and chemical composition of the prepared nanocomposites were analyzed by transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy.Furthermore, the electrocatalytic properties of the nanocomposites towards the oxidation of organic molecules were examined by cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry.Electrochemical results showed that the Pd/graphene catalysts synthesized by electrochemical method exhibit excellent electrocatalytic activity and stability towards the oxidation of methanol and ethanol, which possess good application prospect in fuel cell field. |
