The cleanliness of liquid steel often determines the quality of finished steel.Stopper of rod-type is a new method of inclusions removal,it opens up new ideas for improving the cleanliness of liquid steel.This paper studied the behavior of the refractory material adsorption rod adsorbing inclusions in liquid steel,and it establishes models of inclusion adhering and the collision between inclusions.The effects of material of adsorption rod on inclusion adsorption in molten steel were studied by high temperature experiment.Theoretical analysis shows that when inclusions are attached to refractory wall,the stability of the wall inclusions decreases with the increase of inclusion radius.When inclusion radius is greater than 4?m,the adhesion stability of different inclusions changed,and the inclusions stability from high to low are Al2O3>Ti N>Mg O>Si O2>Ti O2.When the inclusions are attached to the inclusions bottom of the refractory wall,the force of inclusions on the vertical wall direction decreases slowly with the increase of the roughness,and increase with the increase of inclusion radius.When the inclusions are in collision with the refractory wall,and the coefficient of restitution and the initial velocity of inclusions are constant,the smaller inclusion radius,the easier inclusions are attached to the refractory wall after the collision.Comparison of the number of inclusions in per unit area and the area ratio of the samples before and after the experiment of the inclusion adsorption shows that adsorption efficiency of Mg-Ca adsorption rod to inclusions in liquid steel is stronger than that of Mg-Zr and Mg-Cr adsorption rod.In Al deoxidation,Ti deoxidation and Ti-Fe deoxidation liquid steel,the adsorption layer thickness of Mg-Ca adsorption rods is 615.91?m,527.85?m and 749.33?m respectively after inclusion adsorption experiments.Adsorption efficiency of Mg-Cr adsorption rod is stronger than that of Mg-Zr and Mg-Ca adsorption rod for the inclusions with size less than 1 um in Ti deoxidized liquid steel.Compared with the adsorption rod without groove,adsorption efficiency of the adsorbing rod with the groove structureon is improved in liquid steel with different deoxidation operation.
