The bending of sheet metal is one of the main methods of sheet metal processing.The bending machine is an important technical carrier for the sheet forming industry.Due to the simple operation and good versatility of the forming process,the bending machine is widely used in the sheet metal processing industry.For medium-thickness sheet metal forming,the same bending machine is used to carry out progressive bending.At present,saddle-shaped curved surface forming is assisted by manual scribing,and preliminary results have been obtained.However,the curved surface model of the medium-thick plate workpiece is complex and the formation rebound is difficult to control.Therefore,the manual marking method has low efficiency,poor precision,and skilled workers.High degree of demand,work intensity and security risks.This processing mode affects the study of bending of medium and thick plates in terms of processing speed and forming quality.In this paper,a medium-thick plate saddle-shaped bending intelligent forming manufacturing for the purpose of research,the binocular stereo vision,FANUC robots,the assembly of a bending machine with a patented mold,a combination of computers,designed a set of robot-based machine-assisted folding The curved off-line programming system replaces the manual scribing method employed by the worker to complete the bending and forming of the saddle-shaped curved surface.Robot-assisted bending improves the accuracy of bending,and stereo vision enhances the robot's automation and intelligence.Offline programming speeds up robot programming and increases robot efficiency.When there are many kinds of plate positions and bending parameters and they change frequently,this research method facilitates the modification and optimization of the robot program,and facilitates the conversion of robot-assisted bending tasks.At the same time,it reduces the number of workers,reduces the labor intensity,and ensures the operator's operation safety.Through the study of vision-based robot-assisted saddle-shaped surface progressive bending,the intelligent forming and manufacturing of medium-thickness plates are realized,and the law of progressive bending forming is summarized.The feasibility of intelligent forming and manufacturing of medium-thickness plates is studied,which is a follow-up automation study.It lays the foundation for the study of the bending and forming of complex surfaces.
