As the rare earth element has a unique 4f-5d structure,and O,N elements of the polymer are easily to form coordination bonds,thereby improving the performance of polymers.Thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer?TPU?is a polymer containing a carbamate group?-NHCOO-?in the molecular chain,rich in O,N elements.The introduction of rare earth elements into the molecular structure of TPU elastomers is expected to form a strong coordination bond between rare earth elements and TPU elastomers to achieve the coordination of TPU elastomers,thereby enhancing the thermal and mechanical properties of TPU performance.The effect of rare earth modified TPU depends mainly on its dispersion in TPU matrix,and the key to determining the dispersibility of rare earth is its microstructure and size.Based on the above background,this paper studied the effect of its morphological structure on the properties of TPU elastomers by using nanometer lanthanum oxide?La2O3?as the research object.?Polyamide-amine CYD-K100,CYD-2004 and G4.0?were used as templates to induce different morphological structures?flaky,rod-shaped,petaloid and Needle-like clusters?of nano-lanthanum oxide.Secondly,the rare earth compounds were introduced into TPU in situ bulk polymerization to obtain nanometer La2O3/TPU elastomer composites.The effects of microstructure and size of nanometer lanthanum oxide on the composition,microstructure and properties?thermal,mechanical and biological?of nanometer La2O3/TPU elastomer composites were systematically studied.FTIR,XRD and SEM results show that nanometer lanthanum oxide with different morphological structure can interact with TPU and promote the microphase separation of TPU.The results show that the order of the effect of nano-sized lanthanum oxide on TPU performance is petal-like>rod-like>flaky.When the amount of lanthanum oxide was0.5 wt%,the maximum decomposition temperature of TPU composite modified by lacquered nanometer lanthanum oxide was increased by 23.5??7.0%?.The tensile strength increased by21 MPa?73.7%?,?209%?49.1%;the surface energy decreased by 20.1 mN/m-1?49.5%?;the adsorption capacity of the protein decreased by 1.02 mg?38.3%?,showing excellent comprehensive performance.This is because petal-like nano-La2O3 has a large specific surface area and high surface activity,can be better with TPU elastomer binding.
