Niobium as iron,nickel and zirconium based super alloy additive,can improve its strength.Niobium thermal production is widely used into the atomic energy industry,aviation and aerospace.Baotou Baiyunebo ore is rich in a variety of valuable resources lean ore.And symbiotic relationship is complex,the higher degree of scattered containing niobium and niobium low taste characteristics.So there are many difficulties that the extraction of niobium,such valuable resources are not being used.Tailings not only caused a lot of waste of resources at the same time also pose a threat to the ecological environment.This experiment is explore reluctant species and dosage of reducing agent for the influence of niobium volatilization rate using the smelting reduction iron making technology and the molten salt chloride metallurgy technology in the process of chlorination niobium when the iron and niobium joint extraction of Baotou tailings.The main conclusions are as follows:At about 1350 ?,the Baotou tailings is pressured by chlorine to chlorinate under the molten state with the types of reluctant and the dosage of reluctant as variation for experimental research.Through experiments found that when 20% of the carbon as carbon reductant carbon content.Three minutes the chlorine time to get better niobium evaporation rate.Lignite,bituminous coal in Inner Mongolia,Inner Mongolia anthracite coke as a reducing agent,under the same conditions in Inner anthracite and lignite coke reduction is better than with the Inner Mongolia bituminous and lignite activated carbon reduction effect close.For 300 g reactants,carbon monoxide reducing agent per 100 g ore pass into 110 ml of carbon monoxide,ventilation time was 3 minutes,up to a better reduction effect.
