Currently the welding work applied to large vehicle manual pump parts still needs to be done manually.A series of problems exist such as the processing quality difference,high production cost,low efficiency,etc.Based on the current situation of the automatic welding equipment development at home and abroad,combined with mechanical design theory knowledge,this paper has designed and researched the special automatic spot welding equipment for the welding process of the spring plate in the hand pump.Firstly,according to the requirements of the actual situation,the overall structure of the equipment is divided into several parts: the automatic upper part,the mechanical arm clipper,the automatic spot welding part,and the work piece raft,etc.Based on the knowledge of mechanical theory,the mechanical structure of each part was drawn and optimized through the 3d mapping software CATIA and finally the appropriate parts were selected.Secondly,using the finite element analysis software ANSYS workbench for main bearing part of the automatic welding equipment in statics analysis.This includes the equipment of the whole bed,electrode and spring,testing the compressive capacity meets the designrequirements.By using CATIA 3d drawing software and finite element analysis software,it improves the reliability of the designed products,reduces unnecessary design defects and saves design time.Thirdly,the design of the pneumatic system and electronic control system of the equipment is carried out for the mechanical system in the equipment.According to the motion requirements of the pneumatic system actuator,the corresponding pneumatic circuit is designed and the starting schematic diagram is drawn.The electric control system mainly consists of power supply system,servo motor,detection sensor,PLC control system and to uch screen system.PLC is used as the core logic controller in this equipment,the process of automatic feeding,automatic feeding and automatic welding of the equipment are realized through the completion of the programming process.Furthermore to realize the human-computer interaction by finishing the writing of the touch screen program.Fourthly,the automatic welding equipment of the competitor is installed and tested and the welding quality is judged by the continuous processing.The comparison between manual welding and automatic welding of the equipment was carried out and the data was collected.The production time of the equipment was calculated and compared with the technical requirements.Verification of the high efficiency stability and reliability of automatic spot welding equipment is presented in this paper.Finally,it is proved that the automatic spot welding equipment of manual pump can realize the whole process of automatic welding and the operation stability can meet the takt time requirement.
