Electrochromic material is a new type of functional material.By applying voltage to this electrochromic material,it would continuously and reversibly change its optical properties.The quality of electrochromic materials can be measured in terms of switching time,reversibility and coloration efficiency.In order to prepare electrochromic materials with good electrochromic properties,the research object of this paper are TiO2 nanowires,MoO3 nanofilms and TiO2/MoO3 composite films.The research contents are as follows:TiO2 nanowires were prepared on FTO glass by hydrothermal method.The formation of TiO2 nanowires were confirmed by X-ray diffraction and scanning electronmicroscope.The electrochromic switching time,reversibility and coloration efficiency of the TiO2 nanowires were obtained by electrochemical measurement and spectral measurement.The electrochromic properties of the TiO2 nanowires were analyzed.The effects of hydrothermal duration and annealing temperature on the electrochromic properties of TiO2 nanowires were studied.It was found that the TiO2 nanowires hydrothermally grown for 8 hours,and then annealed at 250°C with the best electrochromic properties.MoO3 nanofilms were prepared on FTO glass by electrochemical deposition method.The formation of MoO3 films were confirmed by X-ray diffraction and scanning electronmicroscope.The electrochromic switching time,reversibility and coloration efficiency of the MoO3 films were obtained by electrochemical measurement and spectral measurement.The electrochromic properties of the MoO3 films were analyzed.The effects of deposition cycle and annealing temperature on the electrochromic properties of MoO3films were studied.It was found that the MoO3 film deposition cycle for 16 cycles,and then annealed at 350°C with the best electrochromic properties.TiO2 nanowires were prepared on FTO glass by hydrothermal method,and then the TiO2/MoO3 composite films were prepared through electrodepositing MoO3 coating onto TiO2 nanowires.The formation of TiO2/MoO3 composite films were confirmed by X-ray diffraction,scanning electronmicroscope and diffuse reflectance spectroscopy.The electrochromic switching time,reversibility and coloration efficiency of the TiO2/MoO3composite films were obtained by electrochemical measurement and spectral measurement.The electrochromic properties of the TiO2/MoO3 thin films were also analyzed.The effects of different hydrothermal durations of TiO2 nanowires and MoO3 with different deposition cycles on the electrochromic properties of the composite TiO2/MoO3 thin films were investigated.The results showed that the hydrothermal growth of TiO2 nanowires for 6 hours then coating of MoO3 with 6 deposition cycle had the best electrochromic properties.It was found that the electrochromic properties of TiO2/MoO3 composite films were significantly improved compared with single TiO2 nanowires and MoO3 films.
