Water pollution poses a threat to all kinds of life on earth and attracts worldwide attention.Taking into account its potential impact on human health, the World Health Organization?WHO?has published the maximum pollution level?MCL?for all types of contaminants in drinking water.According to the guideline, new technologies are being developed to reduce pollution, such as coagulation, chemical precipitation, ion exchange, etc.,which are applied to sewage treatment. However, high efficiency, low cost and easy maintenance are still pursued by people. In the past few decades, porous materials have been considered one of the most promising materials for purifying water.High specific surface area of the porous materials, such as activated carbon, zeolite, silica gel,and so on cause the attention of many researchers. The adsorption constantly to overcome the low adsorption capacity, weak interactions, the disadvantages of non-renewable and so on.Moreover,in addition to the high specific surface area, the number of active sites and the arrangement of these sites are also the key factors. Therefore, under the condition of effective, high efficiency and low cost,a good absorbent with a large number of active sites and higher specific surface area can be better applied to the adsorption of pollutants.Metal-organic frameworks?MOFs?are a class of orderly structure, high specific surface area, flexible adjustment of functional groups and plenty of active site of porous crystalline material, which can be used as an effective adsorbent. In the past several decades, they have been widely used in the area of water purification. In this paper, the modularized synthesis strategy is used to connect the secondary construction unit to the metal active site to obtain a more stable MOFs material of cobalt metal cluster. We have studied the application of these compounds in the effective adsorption of mercury. To improve the metal cluster of MOFs material and explore the effect of metal clusters containing different metal elements on the effective adsorption of mercury.[Co3??3-OH??H2O?3?DMTDC?3]?NO3?10-?H2O?6?DMF?6?1?[Co3??3-OH??DMTDC?3?INT?3][Co2?OH??H2O?2]?NO3?19-?H2O?7?DMA?11?2?[Fe3??3-OH??H2O?3?DMTDC?3]?NO3?10-?H2O?6?DMF?6?3?...
