In this papar, three novel sugar-containing polymers with good biocompatibility are prepared. The polymers containing epoxy groups are prepared by the single electron transfer living radical polymerization(SET-LRP).The specific synthesis route is conducted by firstly preparing a functional polymer containing epoxy groups by SET-LRP,followed by ring-opening reaction of epoxy groups to further obtain azided polymer.Simultaneously, the acetylated monosaccharides are obtained through the Fishcher glycosylation reaction. Finally,a copper-catalyzed azide-acetylenic ring addition reaction is carried out to obtain sugar-containing polymers with good hydropHilicity and disulfide bond cleavage. These compounds have been characterized by 1H NMR,GPC and FTIR,which proved that the glycopolymers have a controlled molecular weight and a relatively narrow molecular weight distribution. The Surface Plasmon Resonance(SPR)as a detection instrumentation to further explore the interfacial interactions between the synthesized sugar-containing polymers and proteins.By setting up multiple control tests, the results show that the sugar-containing polymers have different adsorption and anti-adsorption behaviors for different agglutinin proteins.Based on these sugar-containing polymers,a biosensor was constructed using protein-carbonhydrate interaction, which was used to detect the specific adsorption of proteins or dyes.At the same time,it has the applications in the direction of biological monitoring, for example, that a protein can be adsorbed at its target interface by a surface-modified sugar-containing polymer brush.
