Formaldehyde(FA),the simplest of the aldehydes, has been widely used as an important raw materials to many industrial materials and organic synthesis.Due to the volatility and toxicity of formaldehyde,it is of importance to perform highly sensitive and specific detection of formaldehyde.Recently, the colorimetric detection technology based on fluorescence detection can detect the analytes by simply observing the color change of the probe with the naked eyes or borrowing a simple instrument. So,it can detect the formaldehyde quickly and conveniently. Therefore, the design and synthesis of a colorimetric and fluorescent probe for the detection of formaldehyde is very important. This paper is divided into three parts, the contents are as follows:The first chapter, background introduction, mainly introduces the design mechanism of fluorescent probes, the characteristics of common fluorescent dyes and the research progress of formaldehyde fluorescent probes. The second chapter, perylene is a kind of typical push-pull fluorophore. It can be used for fluorescent probe, intermediates in organic synthesis and semiconductor photoelectric conversion materials. In this chapter, the probe based on aza-Cope rearrangement reaction was designed for colorimetric and fluorescent detection of FA.It could be seen that the probe consists of a perylene dye fluorophore moiety and a homoallylic amine reactive moiety. The third chapter,Heptamethine indocyanine dye is a kind of typical near-infrared dye.It can be used for biomarker application, optical storage materials and dye lasers. In this chapter, the probe based on Schiff base reaction was designed for colorimetric and turn-off fluorescent detection of FA.It could be seen that the probe consists of a heptamethine indocyanine fluorophore moiety and an amino reactive moiety.
