Permanganate index is a very important index of surface water quality,which has attracted wide attention.At present,the on-line analyser of permanganate index is used in the market,which uses the titration principle as the instrument analysis method.This method has a long period of instrument measurement,complex design of the instrument structure and large maintenance workload.Although some instruments have been used for spectrophotometric method,the residual amount of permanganate is measured directly,and there is a certain difference between the true concentration and the measurement error.Therefore,the research and analysis of high permanganate index on-line analyzer suitable for monitoring the water quality of surface water is the key point of the industry of water quality on-line analysis instrument.This topic from national standard on the basis of optimization,the original procedure trival,operating conditions under strict conditions,developed in the acidic conditions,using the reduction of the rest of the potassium permanganate and potassium iodide is higher than other bivalent manganese salt,itself was oxidized into elemental of iodine,potassium iodide and dissolved in excess of potassium iodide solution.A new method for the determination of permanganate index in solution was calculated by measuring the concentration of iodine monomer by measuring the color of the dissolved iodine monomer.A spectrophotometric determination of permanganate index analysis method is established,through the selection of heating mode,reactor and detector design become an organic whole,chemical characteristics and design of the instrument at the same time,the unique reagent quantitative process is simple,reliable and stable.The light source,pump and pump pipe are also optimized.The friendly,simple and humanized operation interface is designed.Combined with the design of chemical reaction flow,and under the control of single chip microcomputer,the realization of pump,valve and heating is realized,and the development of on-line detection instrument for permanganate index is successfully realized.The friendly,simple and humanized operation interface is designed.Instrument has automatic correction,the upper and lower alarm,data storage,data remote transmission,and other functions,in accordance with the HJ/T100-2003 water quality of permanganate index automatic analyzer technology requirements to carry on the various performance tests of the instrument,the instrument has good stability and repeatability of measurement data,glucose test results also meet the requirements of the standard,has good consistency with national standard methods,the test results show that the performance of the instrument is superior to the HJ/T 100-2003 permanganate index automatic analyzer technology quality requirements,through the actual water samples than in testing and minimum maintenance cycle test,It can be used for on-line monitoring of permanganate index in surface water.
