As a new class of porous meterials,metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)have gained wide attention recently and have exhibit promising potential in many fields such as gas storage,separation,catalysis,etc.The removal of pollutants such as metal ions and pharmaceuticals from wastewater is of great importance for human health and environmental protection.In this work,radioactive barium,three fluoroquinolone antibiotics(nrofloxacin,ofloxacin,enorxacin)and paraquat pollutants from wastewater were selected as adsorbates,and their adsorption performance on MOFs has been studied as follows:1.To solve the problem of barium ions pollution from nuclear wastewater,[Zr6(OH)10.8(SO4)3.6(BDC-NH2)3(H2O)7.4]-nH20(Zr-BDC-NH2-S04)was selected as the adsorbent for the removal of barium due to its high content of sulfate group,and its adsorption performance has been investigated.The results show that Zr-BDC-NH2-SO4 exhibits high selectivity and high adsorption capacity of 181.8 mg-g-1,which is higher than those of most reported adsorbents,and there is no leakage after adsorption.Moreover,the great stability of Zr-BDC-NH2-SO4 under y radiation has been confirmed.In addition,breakthrough study has been done to evaluate its practical applicability.2.Aiming at the problem of antibiotics pollution from wastewater,an anionic type MOF(MIL-101-Cr-SO3H)was selected as the adsorbent for the removal of three fluoroquinolone antibiotics(nrofloxacin,ofloxacin,enorxacin),and its adsorption performance has been investigated.The results show that MIL-101-Cr-SO3H exhibits high adsorption capacity of the antibiotics.The maximum adsorption capacity are 408.2 mg-g-1,450.4 mg-g'1,425.5 mg-g-1,respectively,and all of them are higher than those of the adsorbents reported.Moreover,the adsorption performance was related to the pH of solution.Further experiments infer that the occurrence of the adsorption is due to the electrostatic interaction between MIL-101-Cr-SO3H and the antibiotics.3.To solve the problem of pharmaceuticals pollution from wastewater,MIL-101-Cr-SO3H was selected as adsorbent for the removal of paraquat,and its adsorption performance was investigated.The results show that MIL-101-Cr-SO3H exhibits high adsorption capacity of paraquat,and the maximum adsorption capacity is 177.0 mg-g-1,which is higher than those of most reported adsorbents.Further experiments infer that the occurrence of the adsorption is due to the electrostatic interaction between MIL-101-Cr-SO3H and paraquat.
