| In this work, the absorption capacity and loading and the viscosities of CO2 in2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol(AMP)promoted 2-(diethylamino)ethanol(DEAE)aqueous solution were studied at atmospheric pressure. The temperatures were respectively303.2K,313.2Kand323.2K.Themassfractionsof2-(diethylamino)ethanol(wDEAE)were respectively 0.30 and 0.40.The mass fractions of 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol(w AMP)were respectively 0.00,0.05,0.10 and 0.15.The apparent absorption rates were determined by using the experimental data of the time-dependent absorption capacities. The effects of temperature and solution concentration on the absorption capacity,CO2 loading and apparent absorption rate were illustrated. The viscosities were modeled by using the Weiland equation. The effects of temperature and mass fraction on viscosities were demonstrated. The results indicate that:(1)At given temperature, the absorption capacity and the apparent absorption rate both increase with increasing mass fraction of absorbent, while the loading decreases with the increasing mass fraction of absorbent;(2)At given mass fraction of absorbent, the absorption capacity of CO2 and CO2loading decrease with increasing temperature, while the apparent absorption rate increases with increasing temperature;(3)The viscosity of DEAE-AMP aqueous solutions respectively increases and decreases with increasing mass fraction and temperature;(4)The Weiland equation can correctly correlate and predict the viscosity of DEAE-AMP absorption solution and the calculated values are in good agreement with the experimental data;(5)The apparent absorption rate increases with increasing solution concentration and temperature. However, the increase of solution concentration leads to higher solution viscosity, thus may decrease the absorption rate. |
