Coal mine gas explosion has been one of the major disasters in coal mines for a long time.Mass coal mine gas explosion has caused catastrophic casualties to the staff and caused great damage to the environment. Therefore, the study of suppress coal mine gas explosion is extremely important.Nevertheless the traditional explosion-proof technology such as explosion-proof shed, rock can hardly work for a one-time gas explosion, also cannot play a good barrier to the several explosions of gas and does not have reusability. In this thesis, through the analysis of the law of gas explosion and the research of suppress explosion technology, design a simple, reliable and environmentally friendly reusable water curtain device. In order to verify the barrier effect of the water curtain of explosion suppression device on the gas explosion transmission and to explore the optimal layout of the water curtain of explosion suppression, establish a gas explosion experimental pipeline device consist of a pipeline of 630mm diameter,17.5meters long, thickness of 10 mm,and through the explosion experimental pipeline carry out a privative opposite of water curtain, different gas concentrations, different numbers of water curtain, different water flow water curtain gas explosion experiments. The experiment results show that explosion-proof water curtain designed in this thesis has a good suppressed effect on different gas concentrations explosion, two and three sets of water curtain work together can suppress the explosion better than one set work alone, the best water flow rate for single water curtain nozzle is 16.4L/min.Which provides a new support for the suppression of coal mine gas explosion.
