The safety of drinking water has become a global topic.Drinking water treatment equipment constantly emerging,however,appear on the market at present more household drinking water treatment equipment is expensive,not suitable for poor countries or families in the poor areas.Simple filters material because of its lower cost is more suitable for poor families.The existing studies have confirmed that the filters have good antibacterial performance.However,the filters also exists some problems.By reducing the aperture or lower porosity improve the antibacterial ability of the filters,with the reduce of the filter speed,the lower is not what we are looking forward to.In order to solve this problem,there are many studies used as a coating silver nanoparticles coated on the surface of clay pots,look forward to in the case of don’t have to reduce the pore size and porosity increase anti-bacterial properties of clay pots.However,the high cost of silver,and easy to leach into the water,if the leaching of silver concentration is too high will be harmful to human body.And compared with the nano silver,nanometer zinc oxide has the advantage that the prices are cheap and non-toxic.Aiming at the problems of the filters,this paper tries to use nano ZnO and Ag/ZnO nanocomposite particles as two new coatings are applied in the POTS.In order to study the convenience,this article uses the ceramic plate as the research object,rather than the complete pots,and using Escherichia Coli as a measure of the ceramic disk aseptic performance indicator bacteria.According to the experimental results,two kinds of coating ceramic plate aseptic or filtering mechanism for the leading role in the mechanism,but the coating photocatalytic bactericidal action also on ceramic disk aseptic has made the contribution of different level.Through the factor analysis as rice husk particle size of pore-forming agent on the antibacterial effect and velocity have significant impact.At the same time,the mixture of clay content in the raw meal also has significant influence on the performance of the ceramic plate.Separate nano ZnO as a coating on the contribution of antibacterial effect is not obvious.After doping nano zinc oxide with silver of Ag/ZnO nanocomposite particles as a coating has a more obvious antiseptic effect and increase the coating on the properties of ceramic plate aseptic contribution.Based on the introduction of nano ZnO coating,to reduce costs at the same time can keep high antibacterial performance.Compared with the conventional porous filters,the ceramic plate coated with Ag/ZnO nanocomposite particles in a certain extent has progressive significance.
