Analysis Of PAHs And Heavy Metal Pollution In Dewatered Sludge Of Sewage Treatment Plant In Poyang Lake District

This study selected the dewatered sludge samples from the major urban sewage treatment plants in the Poyang Lake Ecological Economic Zone,targeting 15 kinds of excellent PAHs and 5 heavy metals Pb,Cr,Cd,Hg,As.By analysing contaminant levels and distribution characteristics in the dewatered sludge,the main conclusions can be obtained:In the dewatered sludge samples from the major urban sewage treatment plants in Poyang Lake Ecological Economic Zone,the average value of?₁₅PAHs in different urban samples was ranked as Yingtan City>Nanchang City>Jingdezhen City>Jiujiang City>Gongqing City.The rankings of different urban samples by average amount of heavy metals are:Yingtan City>Jiujiang City>Jingdezhen City>Gongqing City>Nanchang City.The order of the proportions of PAHs in all dewatered sludge samples from major urban sewage treatment plants in the Poyang Lake Ecological Economic Zone is:Chr>Pyr>Fla>Bb F>Phe>BaA>BaP>B?g,h,i?P>In?1,2,3-c,d?P>Flu>Ant>BkF>AcPy>D?a,h?A>Acp.The order of the average content of heavy metals is:Pb>Cr>As>Cd>Hg.The content of PAHs and heavy metals in the dewatered sludge of the main urban sewage treatment plants in the Poyang Lake Ecological Economic Zone meets the standards for pollutant control in sludge at home and abroad,and also can meet relevant sludge disposal standards.AcPy,Fla,Pyr,BaA,and Chr have a significant effect on the total content of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.Pb,Cd,Cr and As have a significant effect on the total amount of heavy metals.This study found that PAHs in the waters of major cities in Poyang Lake Ecological Economic Zone mainly come from fossil fuel combustion and petroleum sources.
