Ferroalloys,which are intermediate alloys of iron with one or more elements,are one of the most important raw materials for the steel industry and the machinery foundry industry.At present,our country has become the world's ferroalloy production power,but also a large consumer of ferroalloy.However,the research on ferroalloy started late in our country.There are some problems in production process of ferroalloy,such as single mode of production,higher rate of pulverization and segregation when the ferroalloy is granulated.As a high-energy and high-pollution ferroalloy industry,Strengthen the environmental protection and comprehensive utilization of resources is the main direction of the future development of ferroalloy technology.The research group proposed a ferroalloy twin-roll casting ? cutting ?rolling ? mechanical crushing of ferroalloy forming process,which is the use of ferroalloy twin-roll casting mill to produce the slab of waste heat directly cutting the production of ferroalloy products,a processing technology,The process can reduce energy consumption and reduce the pulverization rate,but also to avoid segregation of ferroalloy product components,and ultimately get the iron alloy products to meet customer needs.In this paper,based on the previous research on the twin-roll casting of ferroalloy,the cutting process of the ferrous alloy slab was studied.In this paper,the finite element analysis software ABAQUS was used to establish the longitudinal and transverse finite element model of the cross-rolling and the application of the software The simulation analysis of the longitudinal and transverse slitting rolling process of the iron alloy billet was carried out.The curves of the slitting rolling force of the trapezoidal cutting wedge longitudinal and transverse with time were obtained and compared with the calculated values of the theoretical rolling force.Secondly,in order to determine the proper wedge splitter wedge angle and split wedge tip fillet,the impact of the wedge splitter wedge and wedge fillet on the rolling force Research and studies show that with the increasing of the cutting wedge angle and the cutting tip fillet,the rolling force is also gradually increasing.In this paper,the wedge angle of the trapezoidal cutting wedge roll and the fillet angle of the cutting wedge are respectively Take 60 °and 1.5mm;then the strength of the roll sleeve and the roll core of the step-split wedge combination roll are analyzed;Finally,the involute splitter wedge roll was designed and the longitudinal and transverse cutting process was simulated.The rolling force of two different forms of split wedge roll was compared with time.The results show that the rolling force of involute cutting wedge roller is smaller than that of the trapezoidal cutting wedge roller in the process of strand rolling,but the stability of the involute cutting wedge roller is relatively poor.All these work will provide certain reference for the design,production and application ofthe ferro-alloy billet cutting and rolling equipment in the future.
