Carboxylic metal coordination polymers,as an important metal-organic material,have attracted wide attention due to their diversity of ligand modes and their complex structures.Carboxylic metal organic coordination polymers have potential applications in catalysis,gas storage and separation,biosensors,gas adsorption,drug delivery,photoluminescence and magnetic materials.In this paper,phosphine containing carboxylic acid,bis(3,5-carboxyphenyl)hypophosphite,is used as the carboxylic ligand to synthesize coordination polymers and their properties are studied.The main research results are divided into four chapters:In chapter 1,we primitively introduced the research present(including application of metal-organic complexes)of carboxylic acid ligands and significance of this paper research.In chapter 2,five kinds of coordination polymers of cadmium were synthesizedbysolvothermalmethod,usingtheligandof bis(3,5-carboxyphenyl)hypophosphite as carboxylic ligand,including[Cd3(H2L)2(2,2’-bipy)3(H2O)2]n·2nH2O(1),[Cd(H3L)(4,4’-m-2,2’-bipy)]n·1.5nH2O(2),[Cd2(HL)(4,4’-m-2,2’-bipy)(H2O)2]n·2nH2O(3),[Cd2(HL)(4,4’-m-2,2’-bipy)2(H2O)2]n·2nH2O(4),[Cd4(H2L)2(Tzim)2(H2O)3]n·4nH2O(5),where H5L=bis(3,5-carboxyphenyl)hypophosphite,2,2’-bipy=2,2’-bipyridyl,4,4’-m-2,2’-bipy=4,4’-dimethyl-2,2’-bipyridyl,Tzim=5-[4-(1H-imidazol-1-yl)phenyl]-2H-tetrazole.Further,crystal structure,IR,thermal stabilities properties and luminescent of compounds were investigated.Compounds is of potential application as a fluorescent material.In chapter 3,four kinds of coordination polymers of zinc were constructed with bis(3,5-carboxyphenyl)hypophosphite ligands as the carboxylic ligands under different conditions,including[Zn2(H3L)2(5,5’-m-2,2’-bipy)2(H2O)2](6),[Zn2(HL)(4,4’-m-2,2’-bipy)(H2O)2]n·2nH2O(7),[Zn2(H3L)2(4,4’-tBu-2,2’-bipy)4]·4H2O(8),[Zn2(HL)]n·1.5nH2O·0.5n DMF(9),where 5,5’-m-2,2’-bipy=5,5’-dimethyl-2,2’-bipyridyl,4,4’-tBu-2,2’-bipy=4,4’-Di-tert-butyl-2,2’-bipy-ridyl,DMF=N,N-dimethyl-formamide.Further,crystal structure,IR,thermal stabilities properties and luminescent of compounds were investigated.Compounds are of potential application as a fluorescent material.In chapter 4,thirteen kinds of coordination polymers of cobalt,manganese,copper,nickel were constructed with the ligands of bis(3,5-carboxyphenyl)hypophosphite ligands under different conditions,including[Co(H3L)(dpe)0.5]n(10),[Co2(H3L)2(4,4’-m-2,2’-bipy)4]n·2n H2O(11),[Mn2(H3L)2(2,2’-bipy)2]n·nH2O(12),[Mn3(HL)2(H2O)2]n·nbpa·2nH2O(13),[Mn(H3L)(4,4’-m-2,2’-bipy)]n·1.5nH2O(14),[Mn2(H3L)2(H2O)8]·2dpe·8H2O(15),[Cu3(H2L)2(4,4’-2,2’-bipy)2(H2O)2]n·nH2O(16),[Cu3(H2L)2(H2O)]n·5nH2O(17),[Cu2(HL)(2,2’-bi py)4]·14H2O·2DMF(18),[Ni3(H2L)2(dpe)4(H2O)8]n·nH2O(19),[Ni2(H3L)2(phen)4]·4H2O(20),[Ni4(HL)2(dpe)4(H2O)6]n·10nH2O(21),[Ni2(HL)(6,6’-m-2,2’-bipy)2(H2O)]n·3nH2O(22),wheredpe=1,2-di(4-pyridyl)ethylene,bpa=bis(4-pyridyl)amine,1,10-phen=1,10-phenan-throline,6,6’-m-2,2’-bipy=6,6’-dimethyl-2,2’-bipyridyl.Further,crystal structure,IR and thermal stabilities properties of compounds were investigated.And the magnetic properties of complexes 10,11,13 and 16were investigated.The results show that they have antiferromagnetism and have potential application value.
