It is an important process to tungsten concentrate drying process in the production process of mineral concentrates,but also an important part of restricting product quality and production.As for Shizhuyuan original steam oven drying process,there are existing high energy consumption,low efficiency,serious pollution and other problems.In this situation,we put forward new technology and method about the microwave drying tungsten concentrate.In this text,by the combination of theoretical analysis and indoor experiment,these research works are carried out,which are about the microwave drying process design and process parameters optimization and other key technologies.The main research content is as follows.(1)Tungsten concentrate microwave drying process design.According to the actual situation of mine production,it was respectively designed to production lines,design processes,the key equipment selection,and the work procedures arrangement about the black tungsten concentrate and white tungsten concentrate microwave drying system.(2)Research on moisture transfer law of tungsten concentrate in microwave drying.According to the basic physical and chemical properties of raw tungsten concentrate,it was deduced to the mathematic model of microwave drying moisture migration from the mathematic model of moisture migration of concentrate.(3)Optimization of microwave drying process parameters for tungsten concentrate.By analyzing these factors influencing the microwave drying efficiency of tungsten concentrate,the experimental scheme was formulated considering to the characteristics of microwave drying process of tungsten concentrate as well.The parameters that were derived from the mathematical model of microwave drying of Shizhuyuan tungsten concentrate were used as the initial parameters of the experimental scheme to carry out experimental research work.It is optimized to the parameters of microwave drying process of tungsten concentrate with the experimental results,and the optimized parameters could have be verified effectively by industrial factual experiments.The optimized parameters of the RWD continuous microwave drying system are: material temperature 90 ?-95 ?,power 162 kw,microwave drying time 60 min,material quality 800 kg,material thickness 20-25 mm.By the industrial tests,under the conditions of optimizing the process parameters,it is over 90% to the relative dehydration rate of black and white tungsten concentrates,which meets the requirements of industrial production.Compared with the original tungsten concentrate drying system,the drying efficiency is improved obviously.And the production dryness degree and the heat utilization rate are high.At the same time,the production automation degree is high,there are obviously social benefits and economic benefits,and the application prospect is worth to espect.
