With regard to most medium and small-sized enterprises at home and abroad,it is apparent obstruction for them to afford purchase of new equipment which need large amount of funding.In order to break through the limitation of produce variety which belong to the same equipment,it is significant to research new roll pass design method and roll-arranging for achieving more diversified products.This paper,based on original rolling production equipment of certain enterprise,confirmed the ultimate measure of roller according to distance limit between rollers.Aimed at the problem that it is difficult to achieve 16# I-steel rolling by using traditional groove design method,this paper adopted a new conjugate groove design method to design a new pass system which can be used to roll 16# I-steel in the original equipment.And calculating this pass system rolling temperature,rolling force,rolling torque and other force parameters through the mathematical method,finished the strength of rolls and the motor load checking.Using software Workbench to achieve numerical modeling for relevant parameters of roller,the result of analyzing deformation and stress of roller indicated that both of the precision influence of roller for rolled piece and roller strength satisfy require.Moreover,carrying on field rolling test,the result indicated that this pass system can certain the normal use of roller.But,there are size precision problems in several samples,the improvement measure is presented after analyzing.In order to ensure the quality of produce rolled by this pass system,this paper used the finite element analysis software MSC.Marc to establish 3D thermal structure rigid-plastic finite element model,and carried on the finite element simulation for rolling process of pass system.Rolled piece deformation condition with pass,the overall trend of ductility,temperature change rule,the comparison of simulation values and the theoretical calculation value of rolling force,the distribution rule of equivalent stress and bending torsional deformation of rolled pieces in the process of I-steel rolling get analysis.Aim at the aforementioned relevant problems in the process of rolling simulation,optimizing the groove size parameters further,improving production and usage efficiency of the equipment.
