Due to the particularity of the combustible and explosive materials of petrochemical plant,the importance of the quality and safety of petrochemical engineering project is crucial.If a quality or safety accident occurs,it can seriously threaten the stability of the country and the safety of people's property.Therefore,the quality management and control of petrochemical engineering projects are of particular importance.While the professional complexity of petrochemical engineering projects increase the difficulty of quality control.Combining with a construction project of low-temperature tank by W company,this paper analyzes how to effectively manage and control the construction quality of petrochemical engineering projects.By using the related theories of quality management to expound quality planning and quality assurance and quality control and other aspects of the project.To analysis the five crucial factors of "people machine material method ring" of quality control process at pre-event during event and post-event quality control stages.Meanwhile,to propose a method from project unit division,branch works,sub-item project components.Then by control supervise and accept the five crucial factors based on sub-item project components to achieve a good quality outcome.And this method shall be applied accordingly to branch works and project units until the whole project quality control completion.We can carry out a systemic and comprehensive project quality control through the method above,leaving no lose end.Effectively guarantees the quality and safety of complex projects.It has certain reference value for quality management of petrochemical engineering projects.
