Landfill leachate is a typical high-nitrogen-nitrogen-high organic wastewater. It is expensive and time-consuming by using traditional treatments like nitrification and denitrification.Nowadays, the combined process of partial nitrification and anaerobic ammonium oxidation is treated as a new treatment processes which is effcientily and economically. Both ammonia oxidation bacteria?AOB?and ANAMMOX bacteria are slow grower, thus resulting the combined process of partial nitrification and anaerobic ammonium oxidation has not been widely applied in our country. The overarching goal of this research was to solve the above issues. In this stydy, the running conditions and microbial community structure are revealed by exploring the treatment of landfill leachate by combined process of partial nitification and anaerobic ammonium oxidation,it provides experimental and technical support for the treatment of typical high ammonia nitrogen wastewater such as landfill leachate. The main research results:?1?Treating landfill leachate in a SBR partial nitrification system, controlling the temperature at 30±1?,DO at 0.5±0.1mg/L,the nitrite accumulation rate can reach 98%,the effluent nitrite/ammonia can be stabilized at 1.11.3 under a appropriate aeration time.?2?The abundance of AOB in SBR partial nitrification system increased from 1.44%?1d?to 7.08%?210d?,while NOB decreased from 0.19%?1d?to less than 0.01%?210d?.?3?The UASB reactor inoculated with partial nitrification sludge was adopted to investigate the start-up of ANAMMOX process, controlling the temperature at 3035?,influent DO bellow 0.2mg/L,gradually increase the total influent nitrogen load according to the reactor operation conditions, the system's total nitrogen removal rate reache978.33mg/L·d at the 149th day.?4?When the HRT is shortened to 3h,the total nitrogen removal rate of the system can reach 3885.76mg/L·d,showing an efficient and stable denitrification performance. The anaerobic ammonium oxidizing bacteria of this system was mainly Candidatus Kuenenia, and its abundance reached 49.66%on the 250th day.?5?Treating leachate in a combined system of partial nitrification and anaerobic ammonium oxidation.,the average total nitrogen removal rate reach 95.78%when the total nitrogen load is 5055.20mg/L·d.The treatment of landfill leachate showed high efficiency and stable denitrification capacity.
