Aromatic diamines are widely used and are important monomers for the preparation of polyimides and polyamides.Aromatic dinitro compounds is not only an important polymer synthesis intermediates,but also is usually carried out on aromatic diamines precursors.In general,aromatic dinitrophenyl ethers such as1,3-bis(4-nitrophenoxy)benzene,4,4’-oxobis(nitrobenzene),1,3-bis Phenoxy)benzene,and other phenyl-containing dinitrophenyl ether compounds have poorly soluble property,their purification and application properties are often limited.So far,there haven’t any report of aromatic dinitro compounds with better solubility.In this dissertation,tert-butylbenzene was used as a starting material to synthesize a tert-butyl-containing polybenzene dinitro compound through three steps and characterized its structure.The first part of the experiment is the synthesis and characterization of4-tert-butylacetophenone.In the experiment,t-butylbenzene was selected as raw material and acetyl chloride as acylating agent,via changing the material ratio,reaction time and the reaction solvent,we found the best synthetic condition of4-tert-butylacetophenone and synthesized the target product.Furthermore,its structure was characterized by infrared spectroscopy characterized.The second part of the experiment is the synthesis and characterization of 1-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-1,1-bis(4-hydroxy)phenyl ethane.The target product was synthesized by electrophilic substitution using 4-tert-butylacetophenone and phenol as raw materials.In addition,the synthesis conditions were optimized and the structure was confirmed by IR and 1H NMR.The third part of the experiment is the synthesis and characterization of 1-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-1,1-bis [4-(4-nitrophenoxy)] phenyl ethane.In the experiment,1-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-1,1-bis(4-hydroxy)phenyl ethane,p-chloronitrobenzene and anhydrous potassium carbonate was usedas raw materials and N,Amide as solvent.The target product was successfully synthesized.The effect of reaction time on the reaction and the solubility of the target product were tested and its structure was confirmed by NMR spectroscopy in this study.The polybenzene dinitrophenyl compound synthesized in this experiment showed differential solubility compared to the same kind of compounds because of the introduction of t-butyl group,and its solubility was greatly improved,and showed excellent solubility.
